Earl Grey Tea

A blend of large leaf China teas, flavoured with Oil of Bergamot. It produces a light coloured liquid with a delicate scent.

The name 'Earl Grey' comes from Edward Grey, Earl of Falloden. Whilst working as British Foreign Secretary, Earl Grey discovered an ancient Chinese recipe during his travels and on his return passed it on to a London Firm, who expressed their thanks by naming it after the Earl. Today, every tea manufacturer lists Earl Grey amongst its range.

Brewing Hints: Infuse in freshly boiled water for four to five minutes
