Japanese Kukicha Tea

Kukicha is made with great care from the leaves and stalks that are removed from the production of Gyokuro. A finely flavoured tea.

Brewing Hints: Brew in water at 90 degrees C for 60 - 90 seconds

Leaf: Dark green leaves with straw coloured stalks.

Origin: Japan

Charcteristics: A pale, yellowy-green liquor with a clean and sweet flavour.

Serving Suggestions: I have suggested serving this tea instead of wine at mealtimes! I really enjoyed this delightful tea.
