Japanese GenMai Cha

A very popular tea in Japan, GenMaiCha contains hulled rice kernels and popped corn, which give it a delightful brothy flavour and excellent mouthfeel.

Brewing Hints: Brew with Boiling water for 30-45 seconds although I prefer a longer infusion personally.

Leaf: Dark brown regular leaves contrast with the white popped corn and brown rice kernels.

Origin: Japan

Charcteristics: A bright golden liquor with a nutty, brothy flavour that is a delight to the palate!

Serving Suggestions: I found this tea to be better in the morning. Settles your stomach very well!
