Dear Customers
Our website is back after 5 weeks absence!
The reason we disappeared is actually my fault. Aagh! We were sent a bill by email from an unknown internet company for £11.00 + VAT which I could not reconcile to any internet services we use. We had just renewed our domain name (northern-tea.com) for another 5 years and it looked to me like we had received a scam bill from an internet company who were trying to get us to use their services. So I ignored it.
The bill was actually for a service called IP forwarding and was from a company who trade on the internet as Verio, but bill as NTT Europe Online. Confused? So was I.
Without IP forwarding, not only did our web site stop working, but our entire email system, which I installed last year at great expense, stopped working as well. It has cost me quite a chunk of cash to rectify, as Verio told me that it wasn't worth them opening another account for £11.00 + VAT per year despite them obviously being happy with that previously. I ended up being helped jointly by Arkom, who designed our website and a company called Affinity IT, who have both been very helpful.
Anyway, we're back now, and will be happy to receive any internet orders or enquiries that any of you may have.
God bless the internet!?
