The Tetrahedral Tea Bag Is Here!!!

We have discovered an excellent way of making Orthodox Tea with these fantastic tetrahedral muslin tea bags

Since our web site started a couple of years ago, I have had a number of enquiries from people who were looking for a tea bag that could produce the excellent quality of orthodox or large leaf tea. I beleive that a friend of mine in Germany has discovered the perfect solution.

I must admit that I was initially sceptical of the concept. I am used to seeing the low quality, overcut excuses for speciality tea that masquerade in many of the brand leaders 'Speciality' packaging with their pathetic 2 grams of tea in each.

BUT on opening the pack inside the box I was pleased to note the delightful aroma of tea (in this case Jasmine!) that literally filled the tasting room. The quality of the teas in the range of four products I have initially decided to stock is extremely high.

The Jasmine Tea is from Chung Hao in Fujian which is renowned for its quality.

The Assam tea is Mangalam - a delightful malty tippy orthodox tea that stands amongst the best.

The Darjeeling is the world famous Margaret's Hope estate. Another world leader.

And finally, my personal favourite, the Ceylon tea is from the Kenilworth estate which is in my humble opinion, one of the best run and most devoted to quality estates on the island.

I have located them under their respective origins with the other Orthodox Teas. They are all available at £4.99 for 15 tetrahedral tea bags. The reason that I'm describing them as tetrahedral is that I can't bring myself to call them pyramid!
