Despite the adoption of the new name Sri Lanka, teas grown here still retain the name Ceylon

Tea growing in the Sri Lankan highlands covers an area of some four thousand square miles and is plucked throughout the year, although the best qualities are usually manufactured in February. Ceylon Teas are renowned for their flavour and bright coloured liquor. Ceylon estates from which we purchase supplies are Gouravilla, Alton, Stockholm (Fairtrade) and Diyagama East.
