Product Description

“One delightful, and utterly different tea” (Laura’s Tea Room blog). This fabulous chocolate tea will satisfy every chocolate craving without the calories.

Infused with roasted cocoa shells, chocolate tea is a treat for every chocolate and tea lover.

Blogger Laura Burley from Laura’s Tea Room loves chocolate tea after we sent her some to try. She was impressed, describing it as: “incredibly flavoursome and satisfying, and gave me a lovely chocolate hit.”

We could wax lyrical about this wonderful flavoursome tea but no-one describes this better than Laura. Read her blog here.

Although the tea base in this tea is a Congou (meaning ‘time and effort), people remember this rather for its delightful chocolate flavour and the fact that, without milk, it has 99% less calories than an average bar of chocolate! We have taken a good quality tea base and added Cocoa Bean Shells and broken Cocoa Beans to make this dietary delight… The gentle smokiness of the Congou base and the smooth sweetness of the cocoa combine to make a really very pleasant drink indeed.

The addition of milk to this tea is not necessary, but some people may find that it slightly reduces the intensity of the flavour and adds further smoothness.

Ingredients: Black Tea, cocoa husk, cocoa beans, chocolate flavouring, sunflower petals.
