Product Description

Huoshan Huangya Yellow tea is a tea from Anhui Province in China. It was an imperial tribute tea and it dates back to the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644).

The dry tea leaves have a shiny appearance and are very similar to Huang Shan Mao Feng tea. When steeped, the tea has a very peppery and fresh taste as well as an unusual green-yellow colour. As with most bud teas, the colour and fragrance are slight but made up for by the delightful flavour.
